Subtle founder/editor C.O. Moon and columnist Christine Platt published In Honor of Mother Earth in hopes of helping readers broaden their awareness and positive actions towards the planet.
The book explores various layers of awareness to consider, from environmental degradation to human behaviour and treatment of animals, insects, and plants. It also explores the esoteric spiritual concept of subtle energy beings in respect to the natural environment.
An interview with Christine Platt, a longtime student of Mahatma Choa Kok Sui, is also included. It details her understanding of subtle energy beings and what that term means to her. The interview is a prelude to a short meditation that Platt created in hopes of helping the planet.
A small group of people practiced the meditation for a couple of years prior to the publication of this book. The meditation only takes a few minutes and can be done on a daily basis. It is meant to help the planet on a subtle energy level, while also promoting greater consideration and focus on the actions we take — small or large — to help Mother Earth.

We humbly ask for forgiveness for the ways in which human activity has harmed Mother Earth.
We also humbly ask that every person and every being becomes aware of their influence on Mother Earth in both harmful and helpful ways, and intentionally strives to help Mother Earth.
We humbly invoke for additional, specific divine blessings for our planet, for our beloved Mother Earth.
We humbly ask that any harmed, diseased, damaged, or traumatized areas of Mother Earth be blessed with divine energies to heal, and to feed and nourish new growth—fully, completely, and thoroughly!
We humbly invoke that Mother Earth be regenerated, be rejuvenated, and be revitalized!
We humbly ask that these blessings extend around the globe and as deeply into the Earth as is appropriate according to divine will.
We humbly Thank You for the many, many great, great Blessings!
We humbly Thank the Special Higher Beings and the Beings of Light, who continue to bless Mother Earth.
